Meet the Team
-
Giulia Biancon, PhD
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
I have always been interested in the pathophysiology of hematologic malignancies. After my PhD at University of Milan, Italy, in Paolo Corradini’s lab, I did my Postdoc at Yale University, USA, in Stephanie Halene’s lab. There I started to investigate pathogenic RNA mechanisms in myeloid malignancies. My RGHM lab starts in September 2024 at Policlinico Hospital of Milan, Italy.

Giulia Marianantoni, PhD
POSTDOC
During my PhD at University of Siena, I worked in the laboratory of Brian C Lewis at UMASS Chan Medical School, USA, where I studies the mechanism of mTOR complexes in pancreatic cancer. My choice to explore the molecular mechanisms of myelodysplastic diseases and leukemias is due to my strong interest in cancer research and the complexity of the hematology world.

Martina Vigorelli, MS
POSTGRAD
In 2023, I graduated in Veterinary Biotechnology Sciences from the University of Milan and gained international experience at Uppsala University, Sweden, in the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology. In February 2025, I joined Biancon's lab to further explore the mechanisms underlying hematologic malignancies and contribute to cancer research advancements.
